Snowboard Lessons at Oku-Nakayama Kogen
Language Information
Our snowboard lessons are conducted in Japanese. We generally do not accept requests for lessons in English.
While some instructors may be able to communicate in English, we do not offer English-language lessons as a regular service.
Please do not assume that English-language instruction will be available.
Please understand that participants are expected to be able to follow instructions given in Japanese, particularly those related to safety.
If you need lessons conducted in English, please contact Appi Kogen Ski Resort directly for information about their English-language ski and snowboard lessons.
Lesson Fees

- Lift tickets and equipment rentals are not included.
- Payment is accepted in Japanese yen (cash only). Credit cards and electronic payments are not accepted.
Lesson Times
- Morning: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Full-day: Both morning and afternoon sessions
Please check in near the Information Desk at least 10 minutes before your lesson begins.
Reservations
Advance reservations are required.
Reservations must be made by 3:00 PM on the day before your lesson.
We do not accept same-day bookings or walk-in reservations at the ski resort.
For weekday lessons, please contact us approximately one week in advance whenever possible.
Reservations are subject to instructor availability. We may not be able to accommodate your preferred date, particularly during busy periods.
To request a reservation, please contact us via LINE or Facebook Messenger and provide:
- Name and age of each participant
- Preferred lesson date and time
- Number of participants
- Contact phone number
Your reservation is confirmed only after you receive confirmation from our school.
Important Information
Snowboarding involves inherent risks, including falls, injuries, and accidents.
Participants are responsible for taking appropriate care of their own safety and following the instructor’s directions.
Our school does not provide accident insurance coverage. We strongly recommend obtaining your own accident or travel insurance before participating.
Lessons are available for elementary school students and older. Elementary school students must wear a helmet.

当日のお申し込みや、スキー場現地でのレッスン受付は行っておりません。

※ レッスン料金は日本円の現金払いのみです。
外国語でのレッスンについて
Snowboard Lessons for International Visitors
当スクールのレッスンは、基本的に日本語で行います。
英語でのコミュニケーションが可能なスタッフもおりますが、対応できる日が不定期であり、英語によるレッスン予約をお約束することができません。
なお、英語でのレッスンをご希望の方には、英語対応のスキー・スノーボードレッスンを実施している安比高原スキー場をご案内しております。
安全・事故等について
スノーボードには、転倒や衝突などによる怪我・事故の危険が伴います。
レッスン中はインストラクターの指示に従い、ご自身でも安全に十分ご注意ください。
また、転倒時の受け身・ゲレンデでの危険回避等含め自己責任となります。
参加者には、ご自身の安全に配慮してレッスンに参加していただく必要があります。当スクールでは傷害保険による補償を提供しておりませんので、必要に応じて各自で保険にご加入ください。
